March Reading Month Information Dear Parents and Families, We are excited to announce that our March Is Reading Month celebration will begin on Monday, March 2! This year's theme is "Reading Takes You Everywhere!" We have many fun and engaging activities planned throughout the month to encourage a love of reading. Students can look forward to games, book giveaways, Treat Tuesdays, new books to explore, Dress-Up Days, Flashlight Fridays, Wellness Wednesdays, a special Family Night, and guest readers who have been invited to share stories with our students. Even our lunch menu at North will coordinate with our reading theme! On Friday, March 27, our EK–4th grade students will take a field trip to the Dickinson County Library. Students will participate in reading activities and learn more about the wonderful programs and resources our local library has to offer. We are looking forward to a month filled with reading adventures and special memories. Thank you for supporting reading at home and helping us make this celebration a success! All students will be entered to win books and prizes daily! Each classroom teacher will be sending out a Sign Up Genius list for snacks and Parent Readers in the classroom. Please sign up!
