MTU Summer Youth Programs Students in grades 6-8 are encouraged to check out MTU's summer youth camps. There are a veriety of explorations offered each summer, each an intensive weeklong look at a particular field of study or area of interest. Pick up a flyer in the office for more information. Students in 8th grade may apply for a $200.00 student activity scholarship through Mrs. Boddy. At least 1 $200.00 scholarship will be awarded to a MS student for a summer educational camp. Scholarship information will be available after spring break.

8th Grade Sledding Party The annual 8th grade sledding party is scheduled for the afternoon of Friday, March 12, at City Park.

Summer Camp Scholarships Scholarship applications are now available for students who plan to participate in a summer athletic, music, or academic camp. This year there will be a minimum of 4 scholarships and a possibility of 8 scholarships awarded to students currently in grades 8-11.The scholarships are worth up to $200 to assist with the registration fees assosicate with attending a summer camp. If you are interested please pick up an application on the office or see Mrs. Boddy for more information. Applications are due by Friday, April 30.

Dodgeball TOurnament The Forest Park Business Professionals of America will be sponsoring a Dodgeball Tournament on Satruday, March 13th. Separate divisions will be held for boys and grils in grades 7 and 8. The tournament will be held at the Forest Park HS Gym starting at 10AM. Registration is $35/team (6-8 players). Registration forms are available in the office.
