Dual Enrollment Information
In accordance with the Michigan Postsecondary Enrollment Options Act, we want to ensure all families are aware of the dual enrollment opportunities available to our students. What is Dual Enrollment? This program allows eligible high school students to enroll in up to 10 college courses at Michigan public or private colleges and universities. To support our students, the district assists with paying tuition and mandatory fees, including registration and material fees as long as the student receives a C- or better in the class (other restrictions may apply). Planning Ahead: We recommend all students in grade 8 and above review these options during their annual Educational Development Plan (EDP) review with Mrs. Petrusch to see how college credit fits into their long-term goals. If you believe your student is eligible and ready to participate, please contact our Guidance Department at 906-779-2610, to begin the process.
